Lab Diamonds Are ‘Real’ Diamonds
Lab Diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds, the only difference is how they are created.
Natural diamonds form deep in the Earth’s crust over millions of years under extreme heat and pressure, while lab-grown diamonds are created using a process called Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) or High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) methods in a laboratory.
However, it is important to note that lab-grown diamonds can not be considered exactly the same as natural diamonds, as they are easily identified by jewellers and diamond experts.
